Iron clapper bell. It has a straight, square edge at the top but opens out into a wide oval shape at the mouth, with flanges at the sides. The iron clapper is cylindrical but tapers towards the top, which fits through a perforation in the bell and extends into a hook. Also fitting through this perforation is an iron suspension loop.
