Research and responses

Teri Rofkar (Tlingit Tribe) and Luba Dovgan-Nurse examined this object during a research visit in November 2011. They made the following comments: The moustache on the face could mean that the face is supposed to be a Frenchman or a Spaniard. The binding is sinew (‘silverskin’). [El.B 22/11/2011]
