Long description
Wooden man catcher. Consists of a main pole, made from a recycled spear. The spear handle is made of bamboo, is incised with three sets of three parallel lines at the handle end, and has a section of woven plant fibre near the head. The head is pointed, with incised notches. A piece of bamboo is curved around the head of the spear to form an oval loop, and is bound to the spear with plant fibre, twisted string and basketry.
