Long description
Part of a spear, made from one carved piece of wood. At one end the wood has been carved into a blade shape with a nail at the tip. The central section is thicker and carved. This is followed by a tapering section which narrows and is split at the end. This is bound with twisted plant fibre, which is coming loose. [CW / MdeA 2 6 98]
