- Long description
- Face mask of man with beard, with carved slits for eyes and open mouth. The eyes, eyebrows, mouth and ears are black. There are raised markings running from the top of the nose to the forehead, and between the eyes and ears. A painted line runs from mouth to chin. The mask has a scalloped hairline. A ?woollen and textile beard, dyed with indigo, is stitched around the edge. [MdeA / CW 30 4 98]
