Description
Whip made from lace bark branch
Long description
Whip made of one piece of branch. The handle and lower end of the body of the whip have been left in their natural state. The middle of the main body of the whip has been cut away to show the inner core of the branch and also the lace-like bark. The lashing part of the whip is the branch which has been stripped and the fibre twisted. It is not known whether this object is for use on animals or people or whether it was made as any more than an example of this particular wood. [MdeA]
