Note: 1914.11.43 and .44 are probably MkII Gardner/Gatling naval machine gun rounds, not Nordenfelt ones. The Gardner-Gatling was operated manually by a rotating crank. British models were chambered for a .450 cartridge and the British used such a gun at the bombardment of Alexandria in 1882. [HA 03/12/2009]
