- Long description
- Round shallow basket of skeined willow. Square start with two sets of uprights laid across each other at right angles and lashed together diagonally in a chevron pattern. Two rows of pairing (twining) secure the uprights, which are then woven to a diameter of 110 mm. After this the sides are fitched (space twined) up to the border, where the uprights are wrapped around a rim of copper wire. [RM [OPS move] 16/11/2016]
