Long description
Powder horn consisting of gourd covered in black and white goat skin, with a separate stopper/lid [.2]. The gourd has a globular bottom section and an elongated, tubular upper section, which has been cut to form the hole for contents. Goat skin has been sewn around the surface. There is black fur at the base and white on the rest. The top of the globular section has been decorated with a band of black-haired skin with a strip of white-haired skin woven through linear perforations. [AF [OPS Move] 11/7/2017]
