Pair of cartridge-cases, leather and embroidered with floral and geometric patterns in red, gold and blue with sequins. [SM 02/11/2007]
Long description
Pair of cartridge-cases, leather and embroidered with floral and geometric patterns in red, gold and blue with sequins. Two cartridge cases joined together by string. The cases are made of leather trimmed at the seams with dark red leather with cotton yarn stitching at the seams. The lids and sides of the cases are decorated with red and dark grey textile and blue thread. On top of the thread and yarn sequins have been sewn on with gold wrapped thread. The cases are also decorated with gold thread embroidered in a floral pattern supported by pieces of ?card. Each case has a leather loop at the back to attach it to a belt. [MdeA]. Both bags are decorated with scored/incised lines under the front flap. The bags are closed with lengths of leather that are knotted through a leather loop on the base of the bag. [.1] has one leather strap, [.2] has two and a small leather loop at the base of the bag. [SM 02/11/2007]
