Description
Matchlock long gun, "Cheek gun". Probably locally made using recycled materials. [MdeA 02/12/2008]
Long description
The barrel is metal and cylindrical, secured to the stock with copper alloy bands. There is a ramrod secured to the underside of the barrel. The stock is made of wood with two carved ridges and decorated with pieces of tin and a band made from hair set into resin with buttons also set into it. [AF [OPS Move] 23/6/2017]
