Research and responses: Biographical Information - John Lucien Vitoria's wife Edmée Vitoria (Edmée Nikel) who accompanied him during the period 1930-1932 in Nigeria, has been the subject of a biography by her daughter Christine Lehmann, Edmée Nikel: le bonheur de peindre, Somogy éditions de Art, 2008. Vitoria and their time in Nigeria are briefly discussed in this book, and several of the photographs in the PRM collection are reproduced. [CM 10/11/2008]
