Long description
Dagger [.1] with single edged steel blade and brass and glass handle. With leather sheath [.2] The dagger handle is made of brass and decorated with inlaid a large area of red glass and red and blue glass dots on each side. The sheath is made of orange coloured leather with nine non-metallic rivets on the front forming an inverted triangle and a line and a white leather band beneath this. It has a white leather carrying or belt loop. The leather is stitched down the centre of the back with string. The front of the sheath has an incised and impressed design of crosshatching, lines and semi-circles. [SM 30/03/2007]
