Description
Leather tinder pouch with fixed steel. [BS [OPS move] 11/8/2017]
Long description
Tinder pouch, roughly rectangular in shape with curved and slightly flared base edge. Constructed from a folded piece of leather with a curved steel attached to the bottom edge. The front of the pouch is decorated with a three incised brass plates with foliate designs under which are lined with red silk. The top edge is mounted with a decorative bar featuring stylised dragon heads at each end. Mounted on this are three brass loops through which three brass curved handles are looped. There is an incised band of brass featuring a loop and dot pattern across the centre. A long brass chain is connected to the uppermost handle loop. [BS [OPS move] 11/8/2017]
