Long description
Birch bark cauldron with wood handle. Rectangular bottomed vessel with wider opening. Made from a single piece of bark folded at the sides and at the ends. The ends are tied closed with pieces of plant fibre; a piece of flat wood is also tied to the ends to create strength and rigidity. A piece of bent wood is tied over the top as a handle.
