Long description
Square cushion-shaped basket, bias plaited from wide and narrow ash splints and braided sweetgrass. Hinged lid of circular shape which attaches on one of the flat sides of the cushion and closes by passing one loop through a loop attached to the body of the basket. The lid is woven with ash splints and plaited sweetgrass (with a bundled sweetgrass rim), and decorated with curled ash embellishments. [MOBB [OPS move] 2/11/2016]
