Fish-shaped fish lure of ivory, with inlaid eyes, 2 short bead strings and baleen at each end. [MJD 14/05/2009]
Long description
Fish-shaped fish lure of ivory, with inlaid eyes, 2 short bead strings and baleen at each end. The baleen is attached to holes at the tail end and head end of the ivory. The sinew line of beads and pieces of ?crab shell or ?auk beak are tied to the baleen line at the mouth end. There is an inlaid dot on the underside. The ivory is stained on the top. [MJD 14/05/2009]
