Long description
Ring-tray upon which the harpoon-line was coiled. The tray is made from bone panels that have been made into sections and bent into shape, then secured by nails. There is a section of wood that turns upwards at a right angle that is secured to the centre of the tray. Bone fastenings and metal strips to secure the tray together. Animal hide strap with wooden pegs attached in varying sizes. [ASh [OPS move] 27/6/2017]
