1932.88.393Pottery lamp of unglazed, unslipped buff ware. Pear shaped with slightly rounded body and seam running around the hemisphere. There is a small filling hole in the centre of the top, around which a body has been moulded and then detailed with incised lines. A small banded tail is behind the hole. Extending from this rear section are two legs and feet. At the front of the hole the front of the body or shoulders are indicated with a straight line. Between this line and the wick hole are several diagonal lines between which run five horizontal lines. There is a maker's mark on the base. [MOBB [OPS move] 31/08/2016]1932.88.393
