Long description
Bone model of a gull trap, built in the form of a snow house with model bait and gull on the roof. The bait is a piece of wood representing blubber. In the roof is a hole, covered with a conical plug representing a mound of snow. Both the gull and the snow are made of ivory. Through the hole can be glimpsed a piece of fur, representing the person sitting inside the trap. [El.B 04/11/2011]
