Long description
Blue and white striped textile of handspun cotton, made for the chief's deckchair. The textile is rectangular, with a fringe at each end of twisted tassels. The pattern comprises longitudinal blue stripes, flanked by stripes of darker blue, with extra stripes of darker blue between these, all on a white background. [JMC 23/9/2019]
