Long description
Animal tooth pendant, part of man's Northern Plains style outfit. The tooth is a canine tooth, the lower two thirds of which have been painted black. The bottom has been sawn at an oblique angle and perforated. The tooth hangs from a chain of multifaceted metal beads strung on cotton thread. There is a spherical, light blue, glass bead strung on either side of the tooth.
