Long description
Carrying-sling made of dark brown plaited cane strips and used for carrying pots. The sling comprises six plaited strips, which split to form a cradle for the pot and six long fringes of cane strips which are bound at the top with brown and black plant fibre string. The plaited strips are tied and bound together at the top of the sling. Beneath the cradle the cane is gathered into an ornamental, cylindrical terminal, bound just above with brown and black plant fibre string. [JMC 14/8/2019]
