- Long description
- Net veil of loosely woven (knotted) string, embroidered with yellow, maroon, blue and green thread stripes. The longer edges have been hemmed with alternating stripes of the four embroidery colours. The main embroidered design consists of a striped design, the stripes alternating border colour, and decorated with a yellow zigzag. The triangles around the zigzag alternate blue, green and maroon in matched pairs. The shorter edges have alternating coloured tassels with gold plastic thread, and are hemmed with alternating coloured sections, with a green border. The thread used to create the main body of the veil is dyed black. [AFS [OPS move] 17/7/2019]
