- A pair of iron rowel spurs [.1 - .2]. Each has a U-shaped heel band with a circular plate and eight-pointed star rowel. [JMC 30/4/2019]
- Long description
- A pair of iron rowel spurs [.1 - .2]. Each has a U-shaped heel band with a six-lobed plate decorated with six perforations. From this the bifurcated, kidney-shaped neck extends, with a kidney-shaped hole cut out on each side. It holds the eight-pointed star rowel. The arms of the heel band are incised with an undulating pattern, and terminate in ornate plates with cut out semicircles. [JC [OPS Move] 7/4/2017]
