Ewer of copper and brass [1934.12.37 .1] with fluted lid [1934.12.37 .2]. [JMC 13/2/2019]
Long description
Ewer [.1] and lid [.2] both of copper and brass. The base has a fluted design and on the body on one side in repoussé is a scene with a figure riding an elephant, on the other side a figure seated beneath a tree. The area below the lid and the lid itself are fluted. The handle is a dragon and the spout is appears out of a dragon's mouth. [ZM 25/2/2005]
