Research and responses

Examined in March 2007 by Dr Bruce Bernstein from the Smithsonian Institution who identified the person who made this bowl as Rose Gonzales, a well known potter, because of the name 'Rose' marked on the base of the bowl. Bernstein noted artistically this is a very well made bowl. [ZM 09/03/2007]
