Description
Composite bow section. [ASh [OPS move] 13/2/2018]
Long description
Composite bow section, most likely that of a Japanese bow. The section consists of the bow tip, which has been shouldered and lacquered black on the exterior with red lacquered cane bands strengthening the tip. The interior of the section shows three long layers of horizontal strips of wood, which has been broken up with a short layer of wood placed vertically. [ASh [OPS move] 13/2/2018]
