Research and responses

It seems probable that all of Holland's collections came to the OUMNH via George Rolleston, see Rolleston papers Ashmolean Museum GR/A/1 Holland letters [AP 26/09/2012]

There is a short hand-written note in the George Rolleston archive that mentions the delivery of bows and arrows from Magellan Straits to the University Museum in July 1873. See copy in the RDF. [AS 07/03/2012]
