- Long description
- Painted wooden spindle with whorl and yarn. Circular in section, with both ends tapering to a point. The middle section of the spindle is painted with bands of white, red, yellow and black. Brown yarn has been wound around, partially covering the painted section. There is a ceramic whorl in the centre of the painted section, painted black with moulded and painted geometric patterns in red, white and yellow. [EH [OPS move] 12/10/2017]
