Long description
Arrow with reed shaft and iron head. The head is pointed with two barbs. The tang and join between the head and shaft is bound with resin, possibly poisonous. The tail end is half notched made from a separate piece bound to the side with plant fibre. The section of the shaft with the resin has become adhered to the equivalent sections of arrows [1900.54.1 .33 & .34], so that the three objects are stuck together. [EH [OPS move] 5/10/2017]
