Blackwood refers to Maria Chino in an undated 'Acoma' evening lecture, a typescript of which is kept in the PRM Blackwood manuscript collection, box 13. Blackwood refers to the fact that she became good friends with Chino during her fieldwork in 1926-27. Chino was 'the best' potter in the Acoma pueblo, and Blackwood used to stay with her sometimes while visiting the area. [FL 15-07-05]
