1907.10.13Japanese bow of compound construction. Made from wood which has been ?lacquered black. The bow has been bound along the length at intervals with strips of reed. At the midpoint of the bow there is a strip of animal hide wrapped around the wood and a section of bound reed which has been lacquered a purple / red colour. The tips of the bow have been notched.
