Description
A section of plant fibre (possibly from the plaited leaf bag mentioned in the Accession Book Entry) was found with the human child's calvaria, in seven pieces [1938.36.1295 .1]. [MOBB [OPS move] 19/7/2017]
Long description
The sections of the Calvaria present are: the Frontal, Proper Right Parietal, Proper Left Parietal, Occipital, Proper Right Temporal, Proper Left Temporal and Sphenoid. [MOBB [OPS move] 19/7/2017] Upper part of skull of a child, without lower jaw. This has broken into several pieces and is no longer wrapped in a bag of plaited leaf as indicated in the accession record. [?JP 29/1/2004]

UPDATED: This calvaria has the number 8 written on the Proper Left Parietal. [MOBB [OPS move] 19/7/2017]
