The inscription on this object was transcribed and translated by Fusa McLynn who volunteered at the Museum in 2013 as: (Reverse) “Koi ga asobu, usage ga roppiki”, Carp playing, 6 rabbits “Tsumikusa o suru onna, kitsui inoshishi to warui nezumi”, Women picking wild plants, fierce wild boar and bad rats [FB 08/01/2014]
