Research and responses

The inscription on this object was transcribed and translated by Fusa McLynn who volunteered at the Museum in 2013 as: “Kaji dosha”, Sacred sand for a prayer “Daishigawara Heikenmitsu-ji”, Heiken-ji temple in Daishigawara in Kawasaki. *Similar to 1985.53.6, thought from a different source. [FB 21/08/2013]
