- Long description
- Wine cup with a small short pedestal base. The rim of the wine cup is painted in gold-coloured paint. Also painted in the same colour on the inside of the cup are five Japanese characters. For the associated box and lid see 1989.44.131 .1 & .2 [JP 13/2/2003]

1992.1.1.1Basketry cup [1992.1.1 .1] and saucer [1992.1.1 .2]; physically tied together with a strip of ash. These objects are made of woven of ash splints with sweetgrass trim. The cup [1992.1.1 .1] is tea-cup shaped with a strap handle of ash on one side and three bands of purple: one below the bundled rim, and two closer to the bottom.
