- Hinged wooden case for a pair of callipers [SM (Verve) 12/6/2017]
- Long description
- Hinged wooden case painted red on the outside. A section of the inside of the box is moulded into the shape of callipers and covered with dark blue velvet. The lid of the box has two small wooden supports covered on one end with the same blue velvet glued on it to prevent the callipers moving around inside the case. The case lid is attached with two brass hinges. The case is held closed with two hook shaped copper alloy catches that lock into two screws in the lid. The inside of the lid has the following stamped on it in dark blue/purple ink "ELLIOTT BROTHERS, 101, ST. MARTINS LANE" [SM (Verve) 12/6/2017]
