- One of five models demonstrating how stools and beds are strung. The model is formed of a wooden frame reinforced with a metal bracket at each corner. The frame supports a woven seat panel with a lozenge and zigzag pattern and plaited border. Woven in two thicknesses of string. Note that the accession book mentions five models (see RDF for photographs of these), but there seems to be only a record for one of these. The RDF should be consulted again when the objects are located, as it contains further details about them that should be added to their records [RTS 6/11/2003].
The H[arry].H[ardy]. Peach who Crowfoot mentions in the RDF as possibly publishing her stools was the editor of a book some years later, possibly 1938, Craftsmen All: An Anthology, published by Dryad Press in Leicester. This may contain some reference to her objects [RTS 2/9/2004].
