Long description
One of a pair of stirrups, mounted and encased in silver. Rounded stirrup with flat tread, made of thick hide and surrounded with a ridged band of silver. Has a metal hanger, to which strap of leather, inserted through a hollow metal cylinder, is attached. Leather strap perforated, with a metal buckle attached. Metal cylinder moulded with ridged bands in the centre and at both ends. For the other stirrup see [1951.5.25 .1] [IL [OPS Move] 24/5/2017]
