1932.88.56.9Rush wick candle coated with tallow. The tallow coating has a bumpy surface and is partially discoloured. The rush wick is extending from one end of the candle and the rush is split and knotted. The candle is contained within a black cardboard display box with a glass lid. The base of the candle expands slightly then tapers, it has a 12-pointed star section. It is decorated with a 'blue willow' ?transfer design.
