- Long description
- Ornately lacquered box with four gold feet. The box contains seven lacquered boxes containing packs of cards, red and white counters, cowrie shells, and smaller shells. The box also contains twelve rectangular dishes. All dishes and boxes are intricately lacquered and are obviously a set.

1996.17.228.2[1 of] Five circular porcelain dishes, the rims slightly shaped. Painted on the interior with panels containing fish, crabs and perhaps persimmon, in an underglaze blue. 1985.53.596.8Slightly convexly curved piece of wood, rectangular with rounded corners. On the top side there is a metal loop attached to the wood through a hole, and a small piece of adhered paper with printed letters. Part of an amulet or reliquary, possibly a lid.
