Rectangular lacquered gaming tray with sloping sides, part of a lacquered gaming box set. The base is plain black lacquer-ware on the inside, with a gold rim. The insides is decorated with a gold scroll border and a gold central rectangle with a single red diamond. The word 'Game' is encircled. Long description
Ornately lacquered box with four gold feet. The box contains seven lacquered boxes containing packs of cards, red and white counters, cowrie shells, and smaller shells. The box also contains twelve rectangular dishes. All dishes and boxes are intricately lacquered and are obviously a set.
