- Amulet, sliding panel depicting two angels , part of a circular copper alloy pendant [.1], with another panel depicting the Crucifixion [.2] and with a loop for suspension. [RB 28/05/2012]
- Long description
- Amulet, circular copper alloy pendant [.1], with panels [.2-.3] on each side that slide out to reveal religious images, and with a loop for suspension. There is a square section on each side of the pendant, which is covered with a copper alloy panel that slides out to reveal an image of a religious figure printed on to paper and covered with a clear piece of ?plastic. On one side the sliding panel [.2] as an image of the Crucifixion ?stamped on it, behind which there is an image of Jesus. On the other side the panel [.3] has has an image of two angels holding up a chalice to an altar ?stamped on it, behind which there is an image of the Virgin Mary. The outside of the pendant is covered in religious figures and symbols. [RB 28/05/2012]
