Description
Section of tubular metal pipe. For the wooden adze see 202.85.92 .1. [CW [OPS Move] 23/1/2017]
Long description
Single piece of dark v-shape wood used for chopping sago-pith. The wood’s branch is the handle, which is decorated with a series of 25 noches carved out of the wood. The striking end has been burned by fire and then carved to fit 7.3 cm long piece of metal pipe [.2]. The end – or above where the branch’s split – the wood has been shaped to form an elongated triangle. On one side a face has been carved while the other side is a plain notched triangle. The word ‘Danny H’ is carved on the front. The carving is highlighted by red paint. [FB 16/01/2014]
