Long description
Amulet, circular relic box [1.] with a lid [.2], containing ?relics, carved and incised in horn. The external side of the lid is carved and incised with a checked pattern whilst the base has been incised with a series of circles all with a different pattern. Inside there is a rectangular ?box which has a turquoise coloured background with a gold coloured serrated edging. ?Glued to the top of this is ?box is a cross. Surrounding this there is metal wire and pink metal foil. There is glass covering the contents of the relic box which seems to have become unglued so a lot of the contents is not where it would have originally been. [ACA 30/04/2012]
