- Long description
- Rectangular basket box lid. The exterior is woven with a pale plant fibre and decorated with dyed geometric scroll and lined design. The Interior is woven with a darker plant fibre similar to to .1. In between the two different weave types there is a lining of newspaper. Along the rim is a band of cane which has been stitched into the basketry with string. For the basketry base please refer to 1958.3.42 .1 [BH [OPS Move] 18/11/2016]
