- Upper stone of a quern. The stone is black/brown in colour, the stone has the appearance of smaller pebbles fused together. The quern is round and narrows from the base towards the top. There is a central perforation which is wider at the top and tapers to a smaller hole at the base. The base is flat. [AB [OPS Move] 7/11/2016]
