Stopper for a calabash. The calabash is covered in beadwork and sits on a ring of basketry which is also covered in beadwork. The ring of basketry is filled with cotton wadding and is attached to a wooden base. For the calabash see [1966.16.78 .1] [RM [OPS move] 19/10/2016] [.1] Calabash with stopper [.2]. The calabash is covered in beadwork and sits on a ring of basketry which is also covered in beadwork. The beads are blue, red and white. The stopper has cowrie shells attached. The ring of basketry is filled with cotton wadding and is attached to a wooden base. [NC 16/09/2015]
