Long description
Wooden churn prop (1 of 2), part of a model butter churn with wooden stopper, two props, two stakes, horizontal bar, and leather thong. The prop is cylindrical with the natural bark remaining. One end of the prop is carved into a point. At the other end the wooden splits naturally into three prongs, each being carved to a point. Halfway down the shaft of the prop two branches have been removed.
