- Wooden churn prop (1 of 2), part of a model butter churn with wooden stopper, two props, two stakes, horizontal bar, and leather thong. The prop is cylindrical with the natural bark remaining. One end of the prop is carved into a point. At the other end the wooden splits naturally into three prongs, each being carved to a point. Halfway down the shaft of the prop two branches have been removed. For the gourd churn see 1940.7.144 .1, for the wooden stopper see 1940.7.144 .2, for the other wooden prop see 1940.7.144 .3, for the two wooden stakes see 1940.7.144 .5 - .6, for the horizontal wooden bar see 1940.7.144 .7, and for the leather thong see 1940.7.144 .8.
